As a result, you may experience traditional Indian life and the vibrant bazaars by exploring this neighbourhood in a rickshaw. You get to witness architectural wonders including the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Chandni Chowk's historic bazaar. You also have the opportunity to enjoy Delhi's regional cuisine.

Old Delhi Tour Itinerary

For this tour, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the heart of Delhi and take you to the Old Delhi neighbourhood. You start out to the famed Red Fort, which Shahjahan the Great erected in 1648. This enormous fort occupies 255 acres of space. You would undoubtedly be mesmerised by the most spectacular palaces, the royal ladies' retreat, the open Audience hall, and numerous other pavilions. You will now step into the renowned Jama Masjid, which was constructed during the Mughal era. This project cost a million rupees, and the Imam from Bukhara (a city in Uzbekistan), Syed Abdul Ghaffar Shah of Bukhara, inaugurated it. His family member continues to serve as the Jama Masjid's royal Imman to this day. Later, you can take a rickshaw ride through the confined streets to see the Old Heritage structures and way of life. You can take pleasure in seeing the crowded bazaars that display a variety of goods for sale. Imagine the Mughal king marching through this area and the terrible genocide of Delhiites carried out on the direction of Nadir Shah, who stole the renowned Peacock throne from Delhi to Iran. These are the kinds of narrow roads and byways that you will ride through.

When you arrive at one of the well-known streets, you have the opportunity to try an Indian parantha, a type of flatbread made of wheat flour and stuffed with cheese, onion, and chilli paste. India frequently serves it for breakfast. You can now enjoy the rickshaw trip to the well-known Sikh temple, Gurdwara Sis Ganj, once more.

You are advised to carry a comfortable hat and goggles and sunscreen. Besides, you should wear cozy shoes and hold water. At the end of your tour, we will transfer you back to the Hotel.
