Day 01: Delhi - Mathura Vrindavan

At 6 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Delhi or from your designated location, and you will then begin your drive to Vrindavan city on the Yamuna motorway. The maximum time for this drive to get there is two and a half hours. When you arrive, you first go to the renowned Temple of Bankey Bihari, where it is said that a young Lord Krishna once lived. To honour this stunning temple, many worshippers travel from all over the world.

Your subsequent excursion will be to the Hare Rama Hare Krishna trust-built Iskon temple in Vrindavan. The largest temple in the city of Vrindavan, known as the Prem Mandir, was constructed by the Jagat Guru Shree Kripalu ji Maharaj. Since the temples are closed from 12 to 4 PM in both Mathura and Vrindavan, you can have your lunch and then spend some time in the neighbourhood markets.

It is now time to leave for a trip to Mathura, the mythical birthplace of Lord Krishna. Visit the Janam Bhoomi Temple, the Birla Temple, which was constructed by the renowned Indian business family the Birlas, and the Dwarka Dheesh Temple here. Explore the Vishram Ghat as well, where Lord Krishna rested after killing Kaliya Naag and where daily morning and evening prayers are held. You'll then be taken back to Delhi City. When we arrive in Delhi, we will drop you off at your chosen location.
